Pick a starter from the grass-type Bassasaur (easy mode), the water-type Megatle (normal mode) or the fire-type Protomander (hard mode), and travel across the land, searching far and wide in your quest to defeat the 8 Robot Leaders and obtain their badges, which will allow you to enter Victory Road and reach Indigo Plateau, where you'll have to face the Elite Four!

But beware! Your rival will choose the starter whose type is strong against yours! Yes, this new version has rival battles! Also be on the lookout for the Sniper Joes, grunts of Team Wily, and you can even battle their boss! Also new to this version is the inclusion of the three Legendary Robots, lurking in the far corners of the map, from whom you can gain certain weapons if you don't have them already.

Don't worry about rationing your special weapon energy for this level, rechargers are in every city and checkpoint, so go nuts with your favorite weapons!

The difficulty, just like in the actual pokemon games, is as hard as you make it. For the easiest time, pick Bass and get all the weapons as soon as possible. For the hardest challenge, pick Protoman and grab only those weapons absolutely necessary to beat the level.
